I don’t have a green thumb. It apparently skips generations. But it doesn’t stop me from admiring and appreciating the beauty that blooms and grows around me, sometimes in spite of me.
On this day of warring sentiments, as we usher in a new era in our country’s history, let us not lose hope. Do not give up in doing good. Do not stop trying to bring about the changes we want to see, for ourselves and for our children’s future.
I couldn’t resist this little beauty today. Even knowing the odds, I brought it home. I intend to learn what I need to know to help it not only live but thrive. Will you do the same?
Well said
